Pensacola, Florida is one of my favorite places to visit in the US. It is so beautiful! Our family has always had an amazing experience every time we are there. It has the best vibes, and there is so much to do! After many years of visiting Pensacola, we definitely have found some favorite places.

Pensacola Beach

This one is kind of obvious. Seriously though, Pensacola Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in America with white sand, blue water, and home to some of the most breathtaking sunsets. You definitely will want to set aside a day to enjoy the beach! You can go paddleboarding, fishing, collect shells, and have a blast playing beach games (Spikeball is a favorite)! Some days you can even catch some waves.

Fort Pickens

If you love history, this is the place for you. Fort Pickens is a military fort constructed in 1816. It is such a cool place and is family-friendly (kids will love it too). There are beaches around Fort Pickens as well. Since it is at the end of Santa Rosa Island in Pensacola, you will have a straight-on view of sunsets!

Naval Aviation Museum/Blue Angels

Yet another cool place that all ages will enjoy! It is the world’s largest Naval Aviation museum. They have a giant screen theater with movie showings, flight simulators, VR experiences, and at certain times during the year, you can go watch Blue Angel practices which is seriously an incredible experience! Seeing the Blue Angels is probably the highest thing I could recommend to anyone visiting Pensacola.

Grand Marlin

Now we are getting to the food! Grand Marlin is an amazing restaurant. It is expensive, so I would probably recommend it as a great place for a date night or just adults. You will not be disappointed!

We love this restaurant! They have cuisine inspired from around the world, and it is all delicious. If you are a foodie, you will love Hemmingway’s. It is a little less expensive than the Grand Marlin and family-friendly. Plan on staying for dessert because you will not want to miss out on that goodness!

La Playita

If you love Mexican food, this is your restaurant! La Playita is a casual restaurant and not too expensive. Make sure you ask about their pineapple fajita special!

Peg Leg Pete’s

This has been our favorite since day one. Peg Leg Pete’s is a casual restaurant with a really fun environment. Boats can even dock at the restaurant and order. It is very family-friendly. They have a playground in the restaurant! How fun is that? Shaggy’s is a restaurant similar and that I would recommend as well.

Ice Cream Shoppe

Such a cute spot! The ice cream is top-notch as well. We make sure to visit the Ice Cream Shoppe a couple of times on vacays in Pensacola! πŸ˜‰

There are many other places to explore and experience in Pensacola. I’m sure you will make memories that will last a lifetime and never want to leave that beach!

Thanks for stopping by today! Where is your favorite vacation spot? Where is someplace you would love to visit one day?

Until next time,
