The year 2020 is upon us already! It’s hard to think about what parts of my future this decade will hold. I will really begin my adult life in this decade. A lot of my childhood was in the ’10s. One of the most encouraging things I will desperately need to remember this decade is that no matter what if I trust God with my life, future, and plans, I will be alright. I will actually be way more than alright. He holds the future in His hands. No matter how scary it gets, or how unsure I am, I need to walk by faith; do what I know I should and not what I want or think is best. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Change may come, but One thing will never change: God. He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever. I will always have that one unalterable, rock-solid promise. I know His love for me doesn’t go away despite my many mistakes. This God who sent His only Son to die for me, who forgives me, who loves me, who gives me purpose and value, who is the reason I exist…this God deserves my ALL. How can I not trust Him, serve Him, worship Him, love Him? 2020, we are going to be alright. Bring it on. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead!

Okay, I know we’ve been in 2020 for three days already, but better late than never. My resolutions for 2020 so far are:

  • Finish reading the Bible
    • read everyday
  • Read 20 books
  • Complete something on my bucket list
  • Continue in Spanish
  • Grow blog to 200 followers (we can do it y’all)
    • start using blogging as a way to make money
  • Share the Gospel more
  • Start dual enrollment

Some are repeats from last year if I needed to finish them or just add them to the list again to establish good habits. I usually don’t add reminders/goals like: “stay positive” “make healthy food choices” or “be active” to the master list. I prefer to keep the more specific goals I can definitively accomplish on the main list but have those mindsets handy all the time. I’m sure a few extras may be added later as they come to me, but this is where I’m starting. Having goals really helps me stay focused, give me a direction to shoot for, and help me figure out where to even start!

You may have those resolutions and goals set up and are ready to tackle them! I decided to make a resolutions template so that you can write them down, have them in one place, save, and share those goals as a reminder throughout the year. You could even set them as a wallpaper on your phone. These templates are also fitted for Instagram stories if you want to post, highlight, etc. (all the things lol).

All that’s left to do is fill them in! Download the template(s) you want and type away! If you end up using them, be sure to tag me or share. I’d love to see!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all are having a great start to your 2020, and are ready for the experiences, memories, and life up ahead!

Until next time,
